Hilary trained at the Guildhall School of music, freelanced with London and Scottish orchestras and performs throughout the South West with chamber groups: ‘Justwo’, ‘The Beare Trio’, ‘Blackdown Baroque’ and ‘Classical Ambience’, and has recently formed a duo with David Cottam, (classical guitar). She has several cello pupils and a wide experience of teaching music in schools and directing groups.
